A Season For Everything...

There is a time and a season for everything in life. I have had to make some hard decisions the past couple months, and have finally come to the conclusion that my "Piggy's & Petal's" season is coming to a close. Over the past 2 1/2 years I have had the joy of watching this business grow far beyond my expectations! I absolutely love meeting new people through emails everyday, and making their little ones look extra pretty! I started this business as a hobby with a friend, making bows for her 3 little girls and for a few friends. Being a mom of 2 boys this was certainly the last thing I ever saw myself doing. But I love doing anything crafy and creative so I figured why not give it a try. Since I don't have any little girls to dress up, I figured I might as well make them for everyone else. This business that once was a make a few every week or so for someone turned into my more than full time stay at home business. I started to find that I would be putting off doing something fun with the boys, pushing back family getaways, and even taking work with me on vacations just to stay caught up. I got caught up in feeling guilty about quiting this business because I didn't want to let all my clients down. I now realize that there are plenty of talented bow makers out there for all of you, but there is only one Mommy for Tate and Jace. Time goes by way to fast, and I chose to be a stay at home mom for a reason. ;) I know it will be hard at first to walk away from this, but no money in the world can buy the memories I can create with my family having a good 40+ extra hours to spend a week with my family. over the next couple months I will be posting different items for sale to clear out inventory, but as of today I will no longer be taking custom orders. I want to thank everyone for making this business more thank I ever could have imagined! For those of you who are members of the bow of the month club you will still continue to recieve your bows each month until your subscriptions have expired.
Thanks so much!
Randi
